Hematology is the medical specialty that deals with the study, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the blood and the organs involved in its production, such as the bone marrow, spleen, or glands, among others. Regarding oncological diseases, it is responsible for treating leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas. The Cancer and Hematology Center has specialists in this branch of medicine, focused on both the treatment of these cancers, and diseases such as hemophilia, anemia, thrombosis, among others.
