Infusion and Treatment Center
The Infusion Center of the Cancer and Hematology Center is the site where all intravenous treatments are administered, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapies, antiemetics, and administration of blood transfusions, among others. Located inside the Metropolitano Hospital in Lindora, the Infusion Center allows patients to receive their therapy on an outpatient basis –without needing to be hospitalized– and with extreme security: the center has a doctor, a nurse specialized in infusion and two pharmacists; in addition to having the support of an entire hospital in case there is an adverse reaction to treatment.
It also offers a pleasant and welcoming space to receive therapy. The room has comfortable infusion chairs, air conditioning, television, internet access, and private parking.
Even if your treating doctor is not part of the Metropolitano Hospital, you can receive your therapy at our Infusion Center. We take care of coordinating with your specialist and with your private medical insurance so that you can receive your treatment in a comfortable, safe and ambulatory way in our facilities.
Our team follows the most up to date treatment guidelines published by the United States National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
